Rostislaw Tsarenko is an artist who has clearly found the medium he loves. His pointillism drawings are simple, clean, beautiful – and full of so many dots.
If you’ve ever tried pointillism, you know the amount of patience and dedication it takes to finish just one drawing. The repetitive movement of the tiny pen nib on the paper – thousand upon thousands of times.
To be a pointillism artist means to be in love with that repetition – finding a meditative pleasure in the creating, and probably an obsession with the finished result. After all, the finished pointillism drawing is stunning, and vastly unlike any other drawing style.
