The Art of Stickers
If you were ever a child, you probably enjoyed some time with stickers. I know I was rabidly obsessed with them, collecting, trading, carefully selecting the best ones at the store. I had several photo albums packed to bursting with my sticker collections, and spending time with them gave me hits of dopamine like nothing else.
Suffice it to say, stickers are still a HUGE part of creative living today – little sticky pieces of art you can plaster all over the place. I think all of this is why stickers will continue to capture the hearts of kids and adults alike: what’s not to love about small, cheap, easily-obtainable portable art that reflects your personal style and tastes?

I’m going to bypass planner stickers and sets for this post and focus first on arty stickers that are all making me want to drop everything and become a professional sticker-collector. That’s a thing, right?
Artist Stickers
Lots of artists sell stickers as a way to give fans super-affordable art in their style. I don’t see this trend going away any time soon, and it’s soooo fun to see art stickers in so many different styles out there. I’m salivating over many of these. Many, many, many.
Flowers!
These colorful flower stickers come straight from the mind of artist Bekah Worley, and they are all kinds of colorful, fun, and happy. They should be adorning every laptop cover and water bottle everywhere.

Cool Sticker Books
As is always the case when I dig into the internet for these posts, I happen upon related items I must share with you. Here are some stickery-good books you might love as much as I do. What an awesome idea to offer stickers in books so that we may have tons of them and keep them all neatly contained. I know this is not a new phenomenon, but I’m freshly appreciating them right now. lol
The Unbelievably Fantastic Artists’ Sticker Book
This is amazing. You can get your hands on stickers of art from 42 famous contemporary artists, all in a cool book. John Baldessari, Warhol, Marilyn Minter, Louise Bourgeois, and more! *Not* the puffy stickers from your childhood.
